UPDATE (10/24/24) my girl and I each ordered a BLT. One w/soft bacon, and one crispy. To no one’s surprise, The kitchen personnel/chef proceeded to make two different BLTs to absolute Perfection! The accompanying fries were also incredible. This is clearly the hallmark Of people that care about what they’re doing and know what they’re doing. Thanks to Biden/Harris we were unable to offer a gratuity that was appropriate for this extremely high level of service. I know we came in at around 20% on the tip and it was still less than what we’d like to have offered compared to the service received. This is simply a GREAT diner, GREAT staff! GREAT food! NICE BAR.... Even the regular crowd is GREAT! Just be polite, keep yourself correct and you'll have a GREAT time! THIS IS EXACTLY THE Neighborhood feel that those of my generation sorely miss and is becoming even more and more rare *** I am not a compensated endorser, I am enough of an A.H. to throw a place under the bus if I felt it deserved it***
I really like this diner. Everyone is so friendly. The food is great. And the service is excellent. I feel like I'm part of the family every time I've been there. French toast is like moms. And the cakes are homemade and so fresh!
Lovely place nice worker good food I really like the employees there Very friendly. Like a family .nice place to chill after work. They have a place to play pool and a cozy bar in the back. It's really a best kept secret I kinda hate to give it away but it my job to share this info with the public.the menu is huge the chefs are great. They host a veriaty of different people blue collar as well as families and others even if you're alone the staff makes you feel welcomed .if you just need a little spot to sit and think no one is pushing you out the door.seniors stop in their always greet you with a smile and are glad to see you.stop by and have a cup of coffee it's across the street from the DMV. Oh and be sure to tip the ladies and compliment the chefs for cooking your food I went their for my birthday and the desert was on the house. Really nice cozy place.they know all of the regulars by name.

Simple breakfast, 3 eggs over easy, bacon, white toast, buttered, jelly on the side, good stuff. Thick bread, lots of bacon, and it comes with a slice of avocado. Large selection of bottled drinks, chalk board with daily lunch specials. Street parking, located directly across from Newark DMV
We've hired Happy Belly to cater a number of our parties. The food is always delicious and healthy with so many options for guests who are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan as well as those who will eat anything. The chocolate walnut brownies, the curried humus and the many dipping sauces that are served with veggies are just a few of our favorites.
Ideal lounge has a very pleasant atmosphere and the owner as well as the staff very helpful, I had a great experience there.
